This project is the result of a global pitch that was done in late 2017. After six months of waiting, we received the news that we had won part of the audiovisual section of the Project. We developed this project in partnership with McCann London. The main problem to solve was how to connect on an emotional level with a city that is not built yet, and we arrive at the conclusion that Al-wedyan will be what its citizens are: a city that is not made of bricks and mortars but by its people.

The book contains 38 pages with illustrations of Andrew Davidson, and the rest of the pages are curated pages from Scottish books from the XVII century; the production of the book itself was a major challenge since it was made between 4 countries when the Covid 19 started.
